In the last week of April I was driving listening to the radio in Ireland. A garden expert was talking about some strange garden in Amsterdam, Netherlands called Guekenhof (Keukenhof). An image to Sum up my visit !

I thought the garden was exqusitely beautiful and also very very popular with South Koreans. I was wondering how to capture the essense of Keukenhof on that day. So came up with this image after some fooling around in photoshop. This one combines the sunny day with Sumptuous Tulips, the wooden shoe of Netherland and the Korean tourists. I like it. End of Day

After the garden visit this was in Zanvoort zee beech, the sunset and the surfers call it a day. And so I did it too. Hope you guys enjoyed my account of my trip to Keukenhof. If you get a chance please to do not miss this marvel. Keukenhof is open for 2 months in April and upto May 20th every year. It gets 2 million visitors in 2 months !!!!

Wow cool pictures.. visited holland from jan-mar but was disappointed when i couldnt find any tulips. But this time i m going again in the season.. hopefully i will see all these in amsterdam.

I took a tour bus from Amsterdam to Lissie where the garden is. Its about one hour travel. Its better to take tour from Amsterdam as it will save lot of hassels. You will need about half day to visit the garden. Garden itself will be about 2 hours and you have to add the travel time from Amsterdam.

Great Work! Keukenhof is undoubtedly one of the best places on the planet. I shall be grateful if u can keep fwding snaps related to this garden as frequently as possible. Is it true that a special flower show takes place here once in every 12 years? What's the best season to visit it? I understand that tulips don't bloom all the year around
