Departed Dover sailed overnight to Belgium
July 15, 2010 recap of last few days
Monday sailed from Dover over night to Belgium. Got up early and took a Taxi to Brugge, aprox. a ½ hour away. Wandered the streets, Belgium Waffles for lunch, Belgium Beer of course. Back on board, fantastic diner and overnight to Amsterdam, we took s canal tour “hop on - hop off” great way to get around in a short time. We managed to see all the various areas and got a good overview of the city. Arrived back on board for a hot dog and Dutch beer on the pool level. Diner in one of the specialty restaurants-reservations only-was really good until it got to the main course. We received along with several other guests another reservation as the service was too slow - new crew in the kitchen. Good just the same and a bonus additional reservation. Went to the show lounge and Casino for the evening.
Today we are at Sea; go through the Kiel Canal about an 8 hour trip. Will be a relaxing day lots to see from the ship.
