The North Sea

Day 4. We were tired from all the walking in the last few days. We took the tram to Centraal Station and took a train to Haarlem. There we took a bus to Bloemendaal aan Zee and walked through the Dunes and along the Sea, for hours!!!

It was so beautiful, the sea air, the wind, so much clean sand, and the FISH stand with FRESH fried Fish, so LEKKER!

Alie made her return to her native Holland this week and today to the dunes. On our way there we enjoyed a bus ride through the picturesqe and quaint town of Haarlem and a long pleasant walk to the beach from the bus stop. We returned to Amsterdam to hundreds of inebriated and jubilant Amsterdam Ajax soccer fans as their heroes scored a decisive 5-nil drubbing over Willem II Tiberg to win the Dutch league title on this Liberation Day May 5, 2013.
