Our first stop

Greetings from Amsterdam! After sitting on the plane for many many hours, we got to Amsterdam and have an 8 hour stop over; which is enough time to take a train into the city center and walk around. Train stop is just by the red-light district, which made for an interesting stroll along the canals and old buildings. It's summer, but you wouldn't know it here. It's been a very rainy day. Still, we enjoyed walking around and being back in Europe. The buildings are so old and interesting.
Our trip has officially begun!
