The Staff at Hotel Brouwer
LtoR, that's Wim (the main man), Holly (obviously not part of the staff but wants to be), Hera (the breakfast munching canine on Holly's lap), Colleen (back row right) and in the foreground right is Ellen - we miss you guys already! - By the way Wim, Holly wants to know if you have any job openings - just let her know.Au revoir to Luxembourg, and Hallo Amsterdam.
We checked into the Brouwer Hotel, a woody and very homey old-time place with a fantastic staff and a 'we're family' atmosphere.
The Brouwer Hotel is the place to stay when in Amsterdam. Located centrally on the peaceful Singel Canal between the Central Train Station and Dam Square near Lijnbaanssteeg at #83 Singel.
This was the second time we stayed at the Brouwer, first in the Fall of 2003 and again in Spring 2005. We like the canal views from the Breitner and Bosch Rooms.
The hotel has a small evelator, or Lift, as they say in Amsterdam and the helpful and friendly Wim and Colleen run the place along with a wonderful support staff Ellen, Jose, Raul and Donna - really nice people.
