Liz BirthdayThis is the second year we are celebrating our birthdays away from Home. Nevertheless it turned out very nice. Arranging a cake and a birthday card was not as difficult as it was for Liz when it was mine, but that is just being lucky when you are staying by Family. Up till now we had nice warm summer weather, very warm actually and to feel cooler we visited a skie hall close to Etten Leur. Something that reminded us on earlier days when we were doing this sport in Australia. To have this real Dutch feeling, you have to visit a store like Albert Hein and close to that a Market. You hear the loud voices everywhere that praise on their wares, be it vegetables, meat or fish, people always look at the loudest. When they see the camera pointed to them, you are greeted with a big smile and a joke There is always something you like to buy there. Saw Jola & Liz hoovering around the clothes racks, that means there is time for me to do something else. The vegie prices are amazing special when you look at witlof. Shopping at Albert Hein is unbelievable. They sell

Brother & Sister our wine from Australia, Jacobs Creek, Lindemans and Rosemount, for half the price we pay. This counts also for wiskey and other liquers. Those items have to travel half the world to get here. The catering here is also a lot better. Special for people that use small portions. Woolworth and Coles have a lot to learn. Slowly we are coming to the end of this beautiful trip We thank our followers for the nice comments we received on the travelblogs And our sons, Robin for holding things together at work and Eric watching our house and We are not completely at the end of the trip so there is some more to come, but that is another story.
