It's almost a cliché to talk about the pandemic in ones blog. But sometimes you can't get around clichés. And so let's get it out of the way, yes my life too has been shaped in one way or another by Covid-19, and yes this blog is partially about it. But only partially. This year we didn't go to the Efteling funpark, due to Covid, instead we opted for Franeker which has the oldest working orrery in the world

It was built by a wool merchant and amateur astronomer between 1774 and 1781, by himself in his spare time, in his own house, and still is super accurate. Quite impressive
