Hello my fellow travellers! Yesterday Marcus and I decided that today we'll to go to the temples of Hagar Qim and Mnajdra, hoping for some better prehistoric preservation than what we saw yesterday. I can tell you all that we were not disappointed! Since we needed to go through Rabat we had also decided to go and visit Saint Agatha's Historical Complex. This was a fairly short stop which included a visit to the museum and then a short guided tour of the crypt, church and catacombs beneath it. This actually turned out to be one of my favourite spots of the whole trip so far, the frescoes in the crypt are quite well preserved, they are very vivid and the catacombs still contain the remains of those buried within them, not to mention that the ... read more
