Nemo is looking yummy
"helping" cook dinner with KonradA couple movies in the car, a nice drive and we arrived in Riga, Latvia. Once again we couchsurfed, this time with a very nice family...Rebecca was from Germany and her husband, Kris was Latvian. They had a boy, Konrad, who was just a little younger than me. The amazing thing was that they hosted us even though they had just had their second child 1 month ago. They lived in a great apartment right in the middle of the old town. The first night they took us to a beer garden right in the middle of the old town and we had a great meal. The next day, daddy and I walked all around the old town. We saw a lot of interesting buildings with some really strange looking faces. It was a fairy tale place like Tallinn, just a little bigger. We met Rebecca later in the day for some lunch and going to the market to get some fish for dinner.
For they cooked an incredible fish dinner....Konrad and I helped a little. They had some neighbors over for dinner as well, an American dating a Latvian woman. They were very nice as well. I really liked
the couchsurfing, as I really liked to meet new people, especially when they had kids. But once again, it was only a 2 night stay, so we had to move on to the next 2 countries.....Lithuania and Poland.
