Venice

Here we r in venice.we arrived on the 27 th after a very comfortable 3.5 hr train trip frm rome.we saw lots of countryside on way and weather is great about 13°c, clear and sunny couldn't ask for better.venice is stunning and none of the books or shows do it justice.max can't get over the struture s and how they built them.our little 10 room hotel is in a fantastic spot literally right nxt to a bridge that crosses the grand canal and we can c the canal frm our small balcony where max is sitting now eating the cheese and drinking the beer we bought. We had a great lunch after we a arrived pasta with lobster sauce (yes i was thinking of u midgey!) And veal with ewes milk cheese, beautiful! After lunch we spent nxt 4 hrs wandering the fascinating back sts which is tiring but wonderful! Now ready for bed!
