Our friends are doing the Duomo and the Accedamia museum today. karen and I are
taking a day off. In the evening we walked to Piazzale Michelanglo for a view of
Florence. This is on a hill overlooking Florence. As we have taken to saying 'We
had the place to ourselves with a few hundred of our friends'. It is quite crowded
everywhere. We bought sandwiches and wine and watched the sun go down.
