So throughout the past week I've gone out in the city each day to try and get to know Florence better. It will be my home for the next three and a half months and so I want to know it inside and out. Getting lost and then finding your way back home as proven to be the most efficient and enoyable way to figure out the city's layout. I tried sticking to a map, but everyone else was having more fun getting lost, so what the hey, I got lost. The following are photographs of my adventures.

000000h Sarah --- I can't even tell you what goosebumps it gives me to see the pictures you're so kind to share with us - especially ones like the Arch at P. delle Republicca - I just expect the next picture to have all the tourists cleared out and horse drawn chariots parading thru the courtyard with Charlton Heston at the reins!!! Sure does give new meaning to "old", speaking from the "colonies" over here! THANK YOU for sharing so eloquently!
