Florence was amazing, although many of the sites were closed due to restoration. The worst was Michaelangelo's Laurentian Library, which has one of the most beautiful staircases in the world, no joke. It was closed for restoration. The Florence cathedral had some scaffolding on the dome but was very nice either way. The weather was rainy and cold most of the time.

Siena was also amazing. It is a true midevil city, The pictures we took there looked like we were at a movie set. The entire facade of the main cathedral in Siena was covered.
