Today we left our B&B in Rome, had breakfast at a lovely coffee shop/cafe, and then took the bus to the train station. There we took the Eurostar train going to Milan, and got off at the Florence train station. From there we walked to our hotel in Florence called the Il Bargellino Hotel, a quaint 10 room hotel in downtown Florence. We had lunch at the local market then walked to the Science Museum. Unfortunatly most of the exibits were closed for renovations, much to Dana's disappointment. Then we spent the rest of the day shopping at the local stores and street vendors, much to Al's disappointment. We came back to the hotel for a happy hour out on our terrace with the noisy pet parrot, and Italy proceded to prove that it can rain as hard here as in Vancouver 😞. After we went out to dinner at a restuarant down the street and then came back to the hotel to get ready for bed, and that was our busy day 😊
