So............ Dawn and I completely forgot the chord that connects our cameras to the computer so we can't put pictures on this thing 😞. Sorry, but we will have tons of pictures to bring home.
We got to Florence Sunday morning and have been go going since then. Our apartment is on the 4th floor of this beautiful old building. It's so cute and we have a living room and a kitchen and our room is way bigger then our room mates (who we dont like). We also have a pretty big balcony that overlooks this wild garden and you can kind of see the Duomo. (We are going to sunbathe out there because EVERYONE IS SO TAN)
Sunday night we decided to go to dinner and we found a really nice restaurant that took our meal vouchers. We got a little dressed up and thought we were totally italian. We were sitting and waiting to be seated and the waiter brought us a "complimentary" glass of champagne...so that made us think "We are looking cute." It wasn't until halfway through dinner that we realized everyone who walked in got one, so that was a little ego downer. hahah

We had our first day of class today. It was actually pretty interesting, which I was slightly shocked about. Our teacher is layed back and wants us to look around the musuems ourselves without an actual lecture or her following us around. I think we were both surprised how much we like the actual class. Now, since we are living here and going to school we totally think we are Italian.
I think we think we are Italian, but then when we try to speak to someone realize we ARE NOT. We definitely need to work on our italian speaking skills. Last night we tried to read the translation book, but fell asleep after two minutes.

Tomorrow, we visit a musuem and have a cooking class. Tonight we might go to the supermarket and make our first Italian dinner 😊
Could be funny.

Anyway we miss you all and love it and feel very safe here. The whole city is full of student and tourists and happy Italians.

We will write again soon!
