McDonald's revisited

It turns out that if you are NOT cold, wet, and jet-lagged (and tired of BEING cold, wet, and jet-lagged), the food at McDonald's here does not taste any better than the food at McDonald's in the States. You may all ignore my last post about how fabulous the McDonalds was here. We went there for dinner a few nights ago with great anticipation. The food was flat. The fries were over cooked, the burgers were just so-so and the whole thing cost even more than last time. We'll stick to the Tavolas Calda and Trattorias!
