Now it was time to drive back to Italy where we would spend the rest of our time. We drove to Allesandro's house but on the way we stopped by a small town named Recco for some focaccia di recco. It was soooo good; very doughy and cheezy and daddy and I loved it. We ate like pigs.
Then back Alessandro's house. A few of his friends came over and they were very nice. Daddy loved his basement/cellar with wine older than he was. We all went out for dinner to a restuaurant in a small town "in the middle of no where" called Berzano San Pietro . They served "Fritto Misto alla Piemontese", which was basically a whole bunch of things fried from chicken, to mushrooms from apples to chocolate and a few other things I had no idea what they were, but loved it. I had fun eating and playing with 2 dogs that belonged to one of Alessandro and Ilaria's friend. Playing with two dogs while inside a restaurant is something I would never get to do in the United States, and I had a lot of fun doing it. It was a great night.
