Arrived around 2pm in this town on the Italian Riviera. Tropical plants and palms everywhere, cool ocean breezes. This is a resort town and very low key, refreshing after Rome. We have a cute room that opens on to a patio. We went down to the promenade that follows the shoreline. The beaches here are rocky, looks like it would be hard on your feet, but they are lying on the rocks with their towels just like a sand beach.
