Got washed away every night by the street cleaners and the artist kept coming back to redraw it...
Well we did actually make it to Sorrento. We arrived on the 12th and got picked up in Naples at the train station by this guy. He drove us to Sorrento which took us a while b/c of the traffic. Oh, and did I mention the heat?? He droove like a crazy person and we were scared. That is the way that everyone dirves here. So...we check into our hotel, which looks really nice in the lobby so it seemed like we had a winner. We go to our room (which is where we are staying for the next 5 nights) and there are two twin beds, no air conditioning, and it smells stale and smokey. Back down to the lobby we go. The guy was a complete ass. He said the smell he couldn't do anything about since people smoke in the rooms, eventhough Italy is now smoke free in public places. We brought to his attention that there was an ashtray sitting on the desk in the room. He shrugged and said all the rooms have them but they can't monitor the smoking... Ya right. He also said the "computer" was saying that the airconditioner was working. But, when

This was our last night in Florence.
the bellhop came, who incidently didn't speak any english, waved his hands in front of the air conditioner saying morte or its dead. So they said we should go out and explore and when we get back it would be fixed. We did just that and when we returned it was hotter than that afternoon... After further complaining they put us in another room which they said had working air.

We checked it out and it seemed alright although the room was smaller we didn't care as long as we had air, ahhh sweet air.

Day 2 - Pompeii and Vesuvius

So up at the crack of dawn to get on the bus with air conditioning (yahoo). First stop, Vesuvius. It was a long trek up with no shade and blistering heat but we made it. The view of the Napoli Bay was amazing.

Pompeii

Still hotter than hell but at least it was the highlight of the trip for me. Our tour guide Franscisco was awesome and funny. He explained so much. Ryan's personal favorite was the brothels (for ideas 😊 ). Sorry Mom but we are married now.

Day 3 - Amalfi Drive

Both of us didn't really want to go on this drive but we paid for it so we went. It was interesting but way too long. Our huge ass grey hound had to drive through windy roads barely large enough for one car let alone a bloody bus... But the views were unreal and totally worth it!

Today

Hmmm... Let's see... Absolutely nothing...

Hey everybody... Can you believe that I have a tan. (Not a burn but an actual tan) But my boobies are white!

Thanks everyone for making comments. Ryan and I just figured out how to view them today! We're idiots...

Tomorrow we're off to Capri and then Rome on Sunday. Chat with you soon. Keep the comments coming. It's nice to hear from home.
