Hey!

So, I am putting up more Italy pictures today so that you all can see them. These are from Sorrento and Pompeii. We went to Sorrento and I swear it was the most perfect little Italian town that I have ever seen in my life. It was right on the coast and the coastline was all cliffs and rocky. It was beautiful. Sorrento is a tiny little town about an hour from Naples. It is so small that they do not even have traffic lights there! It was perfect though. The town in built on the cliffs that overlook the Medeterranian Sea. You can walk to the edge of the cliff and watch the sunset over the sea. It was unbelievable. the buildings are all at different levels and from the coast it looks like they are built on top of eachother because of the different levels of the cliff that they are built on. It was really perfect. We also went to Pompeii for a day and walked through the ruins there. It was so cool to see the ruins and to see how intact everything was, especially when you think about how old the city is. Vesuivus

Our shower was sooo cool... it had like 4 different ways that the water could come out
errupted in 79AD. So, the city is from around that time. The city is pretty large, especially considering how huge it must have been back then. I am sure that it was enormous then and a very advanced city for the times. It was so cool because there were areas where you could still see the apint that was on the walls and stuff. They also found bodies that were conserved by the volcanic ash. It was absolutely unbelievable. Anyways, I hope that you enjoy these pictures!

Love,
Meghan
