Tremiti islands

Tremiti islands are a delightful archipelago of three islands (San Nicola, San Domino and Capraia), located 36km offshore of the Gargano peninsula, in the Northern part of Puglia (Apulia).

Visitors fall in love with their raggedy cliffs, sandy coves and thick green pine trees, surrounded by the glittering dark-blue.

Tremiti islands are a maritime reserve, and their surprisingly clear deep blue water make them a real wonder of nature for snorkeling and diving enthusiasts.

The best way to visit is to charter a small boat and navigate the islands in search of your perfect cove.

At the end of the day, don't miss the sunset from the Island of San Nicola.

Tremiti islands are a fantastic destination that you shouldn't miss if you plan to spend a few days in Puglia. Just make sure to avoid July and August, when the islands are overcrowded and the hotel prices sky rock!

Puglia is an amazing region, still off the mainstream tourist path, with tons of culture, history, nature and good food to enjoy!
