I was slightly misled by the offer of a 'holiday' in Ireland which actually felt more like bootcamp. The scenery was very lovely and the people very friendly here, but my nerves were a bit frayed by the end of the first day when some erroneous map reading by Sarah meant we got very lost and walked over 50km. It didn't put me in the best of spirits as we also had to do the same walk back the next day, but we managed mostly due to some kind drivers picking us up about 6km from the end and dropping us off at the youth hostel doors. The final day we took it very easy with a pint of Guinness and a sedatory limp around town. Also remind me next time I travel in Britain to not pack the sunblock and take extra waterproofs instead. At least the rain made the waterfall more impressive!
