Dublin

We landed in Dublin around 4:00am here after a great flight! It took some time to get our rental car and make it into Dublin. Our first stop today was Trinity College and the Breathtaking Book of Kells. From there we walked to the Guinness Storehouse and tour. This was very interesting to learn about and visiting this seven story display of the brewing
process gives you a new understanding of this tradition. We made it to the top of the brewery and sampled our very own local beer. Next, Matt and I enjoyed a short time to sample some of the local food. The unique pubs are decorated beautifully for Christmas.
Later in the afternoon, we drove to Adare where we are staying for the week. Our accommodations are wonderful and a great home base for all our day trips we have planned for this week.
