Ireland here we come!

After much schlepping, tubes, trains and planes we have arrived in Dublin. Almost instantly more relaxing. We checked into two rooms at the Holiday Inn Express Dublin and to our pleasant surprise, it is across the street from a terrific park.Too exhausted to move, we had cheese and crackers and peanut butter and fluff for dinner.



July 4^th! So strange to be away from the activities in Sandwich, shouldn’t I be in a parade and ducking eggs while announcing the egg toss… good luck to my replacement!



Uncle Mike and Aunt Elke arrived at 6:00 am…I was off for a run and they were greeted by Sam in the lobby of the hotel. We spent the day strolling around Dublin and having lunch at the Stag’s Head Pub…. the oldest Victorian Pub in Ireland.
