Hiya,

Autumn really kicked off now, so a great day to set up our blog in English & Dutch on which Gill & I (Joost) are gonna post our adventures in South America for the next 10 months. Everything pretty much organised and as December comes closer every day the excitement starts to grow more and more.

Tickets, insurance & vaccinations are booked/taken, gear has been bought. Jobs, rent & other services have been notified of our departure. All that's left is a few 'good-bye-cu-next-year' parties and then we 're off to the start of our trip Buenos Aires - Argentina; land of Tango, massive steaks, polo, football, beach & bikinis ;-)

Stuff of which we will keep you posted as often as possible to so can re-live our experiences from behind your screen and worried parents will be reasured from time to time that everything is ok.

As far as our travels concerns we have a few things we definitively wanna see, but most of it we gonna take as it comes. As we have quite a bite of time and this gives you the flexibility to get of the beaten track.

Nu de herfst echt is begonnen is het een mooie gelegenheid om onze blog op te zetten. Hier zullen Gill & ik (Joost) de komende 10 maanden verslag doen van onze avonturen in Zuid Amerika.

We zijn er al helemaal klaar voor. Tickets, verzekering & vacinaties zijn geregeld. Werk, huur & andere aardse zaken zijn opgezegd. Enige wat over is zijn de 'afscheids-tot-volgend-jaar'-feestjes, voordat we naar Buenos Aires - Argentinie te vliegen. Het land van de tango & tanga, enorme steaks, polo, voetball, strand & bikinis ;-)

Kortom allemaal dingen die we op deze 'blog' zullen zetten, zodat je ons op de voet kunt blijven volgen en
ervan van verzekerd bent dat alles in orde is.

Wat onze manier van reizen betreft, afgezien van een aantal dingen die graag willen zien, zullen we wel zien waar de weg ons heenleidt. We hebben namelijk aardig wat tijd en op die manier hopen we zoveel mogelijk van het echte Zuid-Amerika te ervaren.
