Not a bad flight, 6 hrs. on Air Lingus
Time difference is 5 hrs later than the east coast; 7 hrs to home in Boulder

Arrived to rain. Long bus wait, ride, traffic then a walk to the hostel.
Walked Grafton St (pedestrian mall), St. Stephen's Park, Trinity College & then hit Temple Bar (the area). Guiness please!

Day 2-The Guiness Brewery tour. Then back to Temple Bar (the actual bar) & tried two types of Irish Whiskey upon the bartenders recomendation-both great: Conamara (sp?) & Red Breast. Listened to authentic music & spoke to a South African & an Australian.

Up early tomorrow for the train ride to Galway-maybe I'll see Matt Lauer?

Day 4 of My Vaca ~
Hey Stephen, Great pix ... yeah, we had some excitement this week; but everyone survived the 'crowded theatre in a fire' episode. That was my memory spark, by the way. Anywho ... tomorrow is beach day / shopping in Kittery. Then Saturday is off to Tuffs Univ for tour and a bit of prodding. We are ALL hoping our niece picks Tuffs over Cornell, but only time will tell. Your trip sounds nice - so far; ENJOY - ENJOY - stay in touch ... WE SURE WILL ~ Hugs! Lori

Lucky Irish
Pictures and blog look great. Have you heard any authentic Irish music at the bars or seen lepracauns? Anyway, continue to have a good time. How are the hostels?

No Leprucans
Yes, lots of traditional Irish music at all the pubs. The hostels are mixed so far: Dublin-ok/crowded Galway-better/nice Doolin-descent/nicer bathrooms Amsterdam-descent/good amenities Thanks Michelle. More pictures coming soon

Guiness............
Wow, the pics of the brewery show that they obviously remodeled! Not like the basement pub -beer hall I remembered getting 86'd out of! Hope your having fun - a bad day in Europe is better than a god day at work ( A bumper sticker idea perhaps?) Jim
