Today some of the group and I went on the Jameson experience in Middleton. It was an easy 30 minutes by bus and it was a blast. The tour showed us the old Jameson Distillery and how Jameson Whiskey is made. It was a long process and I can really appreciate the effort that goes into making it. Even on the lowest end, not a drop of jameson leaves its barrel for 5 years before selling! The tour wasn't too long, but after it was over we all a nice drink of Jameson. Afterwords we watched a bit of rugby in a pub in Middleton, before waiting in the rain for the bus back to Cork. What a great day trip.
