Everyone has a car it seems like, most of which have small medal studs on their tires. Although it was not evident at first, after our day trip to the Golden Circle, it became evident that the large 4x4's and trucks were actually very necessary if you choose to travel outside of downtown Reykjvik.

Many of the statues in Iceland have only names written on their plaques, so we rarely understood their importance. This picture was taken infront of a partially frozen pond. Just beautiful!

Due to the limited amount of light it was difficult to see everything in daylight hours. The Blue Lagoon however was recommended at night.

Soooo Excited!!!
Hey! I was so excited to log onto facebook and see these pics!!! they are beautiful, some should be postcards! I thought greenland was icy and iceland was warm, but I guess not :) You two are really cute in the pics also, hope you are having a great time, keep the pics coming. PS I love your lil mascot and I love ketchup!! Go Heinz!
