Bonjour à tous, Pour commencer la petite anecdote de la soirée. Vers 20h je sors pour souper, je monte dans l'ascenseur, à l'intérieur une jeune femme, et c'est le choc, car je pense la connaitre, la secrétaire d'un client. En sortant je l'interpelle et lui demande si elle est française, non je suis anglaise. Pratiquement le sosie de …, physique, allure général. Je fais 200m dans la rue, on se retrouve au passage piéton, et lui demande si elle aussi cherche un restaurant, yes, vous en connaissez, yes dans tel quartier pas très loin, on peut manger ensemble, avec plaisir. On a fait près de 3km, pour trouver que des restos sans intérêts, moches, bruyants, sans terrasse, etc. La demoiselle avait ses exigences. We returned to the garage that fixed our water pump in the morning and they printed us off a diagram of the additional work that needed doing on the car. We thanked them for helping us out and decided to call in at IKEA before beginning our journey to Hungary. Just as we were pulling into the car park we heard a new strange noise that the car was making. Jack looked out his wing mirror and “oh fuck, the wheel!”. Char jumped out to find the back left wheel on a very scary angle with only one bolt in! We carefully and slowly moved the car inches further into a space and thanked our lucky stars it hadn’t fallen off going down the motorway. The last night in Novalja gave me just 2 hours of sleep, it was horrifically hot and for some idiotic reason I refused to open the window to keep the mosquitoes out, despite having a fan on which would have done the job alone. So after writhing in that oven of an apartment all night, I gave a rather tired sigh of relief as I stepped onto the (air-conditioned) coach to Zagreb, knowing that tonight I would be leaving the 36°C August temperatures of former Yugoslavia long long behind. I arrived into Zagreb 3 hours before my train out again was supposed to leave, so that gave me some time to see the city, something which I chose not to do last time I came through here the other way.
