After the last concert in Czech Republic around 10 pm we decided to go ahead and drive to Budapest. That way we wouldn’t have to waste a whole day traveling but instead have a day off. Finally we would be united with our wonderful teammates, the beautiful Karoline and Dora!!! Dora is from Budapest and her family graciously opened their house to all nine of us. We arrived around 2:45 am to hugs and kisses from the girls then went straight to bed.

The next morning Karoline and I went to a café at a nearby shopping center for a much needed time of catching up. Please pray for her, as her back is still bothering her. The doctors told her that two of her vertebrae are out of place and they are pressing on a nerve. She is scheduled to go home on Monday to see a doctor and God willing return good as new to us after Easter break. Please please please pray!!! We love her and need her on our team. I wish you could hear her amazing voice!

After that it was Dina’s time to catch up with Karoline so I headed on a train

Us with the contact person (Benjamin - he was once an MC in Kansas City)
to the city with Talitha and Beat. First we just walked not sure where to go. Then we ran into a Nigerian woman who suggested we get a taxi to another part of town. We walked around, had some tea, and then ate at the spring festival. Spent a little time at Zara but didn’t buy anything (by the way Devon - I heard there is a Zara in Houston - remember that wonderful store from Spain???). It was a lovely evening so we decided to walk back to the train station. On the way we saw a train car that was a café so we stopped for another tea. Unfortunately it was because of this delay that we missed the next train by 5 minutes. So we found an internet café to waste time until the next train an hour later. We lost time again at the internet café and literally had to run to catch the next train. We got a little confused on where to get off and this old drunk man started pleading with us to get off on a particular stop so we did. But then Beat didn’t think it was the right stop so

we jumped back on right before the train was leaving. At the next stop we got off and realized the previous stop was indeed our stop. It was too late to get another train so we had to sheepishly call Kaspars K and beg him to pick us up. Thankfully Kaspars is a nice guy and he came to get us. While we were waiting we decided to place a glass bottle on a fence post and see who could knock it off with a rock. Of course I don’t have to tell you who won that contest. We all know how talented I am!

This is when we had gone one too many stops and were waiting for Kaspars K to come and get us. Oops!

This is where the rock throwing competition was while we were waiting for Kaspars. A train honked at us but thankfully it was not on the same track as us!
