After my brief visit to Preston it was time to start my travels properly so I flew from Liverpool Airport to Budapest. Hi, my name is Mr Foster and I'm doing this blog of my trip around Eastern Europe for my class who helped me plan it and will be enjoying having me telling them all the hilarious anecdotes on a loop for who knows how long. This is the first time I've gone backpacking and even scarier as I'm doing it my own with the only preparation being sorted out by 30 8 year olds so it could all go horribly wrong very quickly and end up like a scene from Hostel.... full info

My hostel in Brasov offered trips to see the bears but they were unimpressed when I asked if they'd taught them disco since they'd left communism
