Budapest is a city of contrasts. There are many grand old buildings. Some of them are in very nice condition. Others are in a state of disrepair. The size and grandeur of the buildings is awesome. We spent the entire day walking through Pest seeing old buildings, a large market, and the Holocaust Museum. We have enjoyed some of the typical Hungarian cuisine. The day has been overcast with a little rain at times but the temperature is definitely cooler. Tomorrow we will visit Buda which is on the other side of the river where the castle is located.

I am receiving your pictures now. Beautiful architecture! It's kind of fun following along with your blog! Almost seems like I'm there too! Well, not quite. I am looking forward to when you visit Croatia though. Carol
