I left the hostel quietly without waking my roommates. The early morning bus out of Ždiar (in the Tatras Mountains in northern Slovakia) left on schedule, dropping me about 20 minutes later at the mountainous border with southern Poland. Left the USA on October 10, 2006 and at the time of writing (May 24, 2008) I have no definite plans of going back for a while. Ah my faithful friend, Dolores, always ready with her comments.
