My Big Fat Greek Vacation

Our first stop on the greek side of things was Athens. We flew in from Denmark and right at the airport found a very greasy cab driver who had jumped the que to take us. We gave him our bags and realized as we were rushed and crammed into the cab that the bags were hanging out of the cab! the cab driver reassured that he would tye them down, after about 10 minutes of driving he pulls over on the narrow hiway and secures our luggage. Our cab driver was a man of many talents he not only drove a cab but he was also a indy car driver and a tour guide, which when we finally got to our stop he of course wanted to be paid for. we droped of our luggage at the hotel and headed our trek of the Accroplis!

The sheer sight of the amazing achient buildings was enough for me but we toured the grounds. took lots of pictures and then heaed back for some dinnner and off to bed because we were flying to Santorini early the next morning.

We arrived in Santorini about 12:30 first impressions were WOW and OUCH! LMAO the wow was for the scenery and the ouch was for the pebble screamin hot black beaches. After the bus brought us to our cute beach front hotel we got settleed and hit the beach! After working on our tan for a bit we had a nice greek dinner and headed to bed. The second day was supose to work like this:

1) Go to beach and bake untill 15:30
2) Catch the bus and goto Fira
3)take a donkey ride
4) Take a bus to the winery to watch then sunset
5) 22:30 back to hotel

Sounds pretty simple well this is what ACTUALLY happened:

1) went to beach baked......Ian and I go swimming
2) Ian has slight emergency, sliced his foot open about an inch on rock bled like a stuck pig, nurse mom patches things up but now Ian is not allowed to walk for a day
3) Katt and Ian get some more sun by the pool while Leo and fran nap
4)Katt and Ian decide to have a few beers.....Leo and Fran join.......after about half a dozen beer and 1L of wine the group decideds they are hungry.
5) Katt and Fran venture into the streets of Santornini to find the worlds BEST gyros!!!! while waiting for the meal to be prepared they are broguht 2 Ouzos on the house LOL!
6) The drinks still keep on coming and katt and ian where introduced to Leo's alter-ego "Jorge" the drug-lord........if I mention what was disscused i may be assaionated 😊
7) Katt and Ian got to bed but not before Leo and Katt chug a glass of wine
8)wake up next morning

So things sometimes don't turn out how they arte supose to but sometimes its a good thing!
