Another easy flight to Athens and another early start, the train systems in Athens are brilliant, very easy to get around anywhere in the city. with a slight hiccup with hotels which was fixed more easily then us getting lost a few times and me successfully running over a pigeon with my baggage on day one, we chilled out looked through a huge archaeological museum, and a play with kaz new video camera.

Day 2 saw us walking up to the acropolis which for kaz and I was much deeper then either of our Greek history would take us, very overwhelming and quite surreal that we were standing in the middle of Athens and over looking the ruins of the acropolis, Hadrian’s arch, roman invasions and so very much more, (sorry Leah you will be very disappointed in us, but we wished you and jess had of been here for your Greek history knowledge. it was an amazing day, of which kaz and I just kept looking at each other and laughing, neither of us could believe we were there. dinner was in a suburb I guess you would call it plaka.which is very touristy but cheap and late

night markets. for Lindsey we feel it is your destiny to live in plaka because we have never seen so many shoe shops in one area. and I don’t mean cheap big w type shoes I mean boutique very swish shoes, I feel you would literally drool over these shops.

After our tour eventually started, this is a bit of a story, when I had changed the time on my watch it had rolled over the date, so we had running a day in front of ourselfs,so as we waited for our tour we were 24 hours early. Serve kaz right for, there was no way we were going to be late for this tour. the group is only 8 people so that is cool and in that group there are 2 aussie couples, a kiwi couple, south African girl and a English couple, so very multicultural.

Arh the Greek islands, wait for the next addition, because we are there now.hahahah. Sorry tee sugar cubes next time. Hope everyone is good, healthy and extremely jealous we are having a ball, it is absolutely a trip of a lifetime, and the things we are getting to witness, see or experience are breathtaking.

Love k and k
