Wowee the Acropolis!

Our plan............get up early and see all there was to see at the Acropolis. Woops, we slept in again! Damn those curtains that don't let the sun in! Anyway we made it and what an amazing sight! It was so interesting to put yourself back sooooo long ago and imagine the setting from looking at the remaining relics. You could clearly see from the drawn diagrams what the remaining stone pieces used to make up. We climbed up quite a distance and the view was spectacular. It was very hot and Matt and I spotted these delicious looking frozen drinks and without hesitation Matt asked for two and the man replied 9 Euros please! We slurped every last bit out of those suckers (an expensive pit stop!) But darn they were good. We spent a good three hours up there and then headed down for a supermarket dinner and an early night because we are off to the ferry to Paros tomorrow for our Greek Island adventure on our own skippered yacht with nine others, can't wait!
