Koln Cathedral 2
For four years in the late 1800's, Koln Cathedral was the tallest building in the world. Now it has the second tallest church spires (second to Ulm). The construction of this church began in 1248! It wasn't completed until 1880.

It was very dark inside the Cathedral so most pictures taken don't turn out very well.

Stained glass windows
This picture doesn't show it very well but the detail on these windows is incredible. They were a gift from King Ludwig l of Bavaria.
