From the top of the T.V Tower...
I would never of thought I'd end up liking this place so much: everthing basically went smoothly on ou rfirst two days here. Our train came in on time, we found our hostel easily enough with no major complications! We're staying on the east side of Berlin. In a young and trendy part of town called "Prenzlauerberg". The hostel Lettem sleep i scheap enough and perfectly located. the food nearby is very cheap and fairly central with just the underground to Alexanderplatz to get. the city is young and alive and it most certainly shows. We happened upon the T.V tower and reached the top at 368 meters, at which we were blown away by the mesmerising views we were presented with!! From above is the best way to see Berlin, in the same way as Bruges and Ghent were to be seen from the water!!This was definitely a great way to begin our trip here.

The weather was simply splendid, so we decided to take the open top tour bus and site back and enjoy all that Berlin had to offer. We got off at the Reichstag building! It is the most visited government building in the world and
DIRECTIONS PLEASE???DIRECTIONS PLEASE???DIRECTIONS PLEASE???

So i grab the map from james and decide to ask the one man who looked liek he wasn't busy..who was i to know he wasn't moving or talking for a specific reason???
it really lives up to its expectations. It's surroundings are beautiful and with free entry It's views are even more worth while when ya reach the top. It is equally as enchanting to look down from then the T.V tower, only it's about ten euro cheaper.....😊

At the Brandenburg Gate then we witness the most Bizzare sighting ever. A Demonstration was being held by the German Farmers over the 30c increase in milk prices.. The area was overflowing with gigantic plastic cows in the German national colours. Briefly saw checkpoint Charlie also..

We saw all the embassy buildings and some of the largest shopping centres in Europe also. We watched some strange band perform in Alexanderplatz square also....very very random..

The following day we went to the Berliner Dom for 5 euro. With a guide I'd say you'd get more out of it but the Cathedral is still beautiful with much history and views to be seen from the top that will simply take your breath away all over again... A Museum is also on show inside on one of the top floors, as well as a trip to the Crypt below where you can see the tombs of past Kings and Other Royalty members. King Friedrick Himself is down there, who i think Jamsie is now shaping is life upon as he watches what he achieved in this city in awe...

We made a trip to the station today to see if we needed to pay a supplement for the sleeping carriages to Warsaw. the man at the inter rail information desk put is as bluntly and abruptly as he possibly could "YOU SHOULD OF COME HERE YESTERDAY; NOW I CAN'T SELL YOU ANYTHING" He told us we would have to stand at the platform tonight and ask the conductor nicely if there were any carriages left. If he said no then we would have to stay here. I Mean he couldn't even tell us if the train was full or not, so the trip to the train could be worthless and leave us stranded for the night..On top of that we already have the next few nights paid for which leaves with another predicament. Oh Germany why did you have to such a horrid thing to us when things had just started to right..just goes to show "WHATEVER CAN GO WRONG....WILL GO WRONG..." and

Yes...we reach the top of the Reichstag building but instead of check out the panormic views all we want is a GLASS OF WASSER...
we are very proof of that saying i do believe...
