On a bridge near Museum Island and Unter den Linden. You can see a Christmas market to the right, and to the left is the Fernsehturm, or Television Tower. The Television Tower is one of the tallest freestanding structures in Europe at 368 meters (1207 feet), but I'm pretty sure its pure evil since it's owned by Deutsche Telekom.

The Berliner Dom (Berlin Cathedral) was built between 1893 and 1905. It's a Protestant church whose basement holds the Hohenzollern crypt.

Ibis!
We stayed at that Ibis when we left for our honeymoon back in '05. It was pitiful! But you should have seen the one we stayed at in Paris with De Rego a few months earlier. Now that one was simply awful.

Christmas across Germany
Finished viewing your blog on Christmas across Germany.....The pictures were beautiful and the descriptions professional. It makes one want to take a trip to Germany at Christmas time, (if I wasn't afraid to fly). I especially liked the snowballs at the bakery.....you can throw those snowballs at me anytime. Love you
