HostelSt. Christopher's Hostel. It was clean, and 8 of us slept in it. 5 others were in another room.

TowerThis is a radio tower....evidence from the Cold War. The Soviets wanted nothing to do with religion...but funny enough when the sun beats on it, it radiates the cross.

New Old BuildingA building in Berlin, that looks very old, but was actually built in the turn of the 20th century.
*Fact: 90% of downtown Berlin was destroyed in WWII.
Humboldt UniversityFamous University. Einstein taught here.
This is the school where the SS took 20,000 books (By Jewish authors and other people that were "banned") and burned them at the site in my next photo.
BooksThe books were burned in front of this building, that is across the street from Humbolt University.

Checkpoint CharlieThis is the American part of Old West Berlin, and where you could cross.
BearBerlin has bears all over, just like Munich with lions. Dustin stops to pose with one on his bike.
MemorialThis is what the memorial looked like as you would walk into it further. All the blocks are the same size, they just vary in how much is exposed above the ground.
