Was a pleasure to walk the 3 kms through this factory and see the latest models being released in Europe - staff who work here are able to get vehicles with 20% discount!
During the last 24hrs have transversed from the Danube to the Rhine across the alps using a man-made canal system - not dissimilar to our Snowy River Hydro scheme! We are passing through a total of 16 locks and three of these are 24 metres in height. Have taken a short video of the descent and opening of the gates which is now on the blog for those interested (click on the heading above pic to find it), quite spectaular to watch this all happen. Today we visited the Audi factory outside of Regensburg and tomorrow the medieval town of Nuremberg should be an interesting place.
