When we left Cherbourg we were headed to the town of Fecamp, but in checking the tides, we knew it was too far for a favorable current, therefore we took advice we received from others and traveled only 4 hours to an anchorage at St. Vaast-La-Hougue. Like so many others we love to travel and we love to sail so cruising makes a lot of sense. Janice has retired from Cornell as a business manager and Bob has retired from South Seneca school district as the high school principal. It's time to sell the house, get rid of whatever doesn't fit on our 40 foot Caliber LRC named Tsamaya (this means Travel Well in Setswana) and set off to see the world. We had a beautiful night watching the sun set from the beach of Fecamp.

We noticed that a few of the houses used tile as a decorative addition.

Look closely to see how this artist creates his “paintings” which are actually made up of common materials such as clothing, toys, pens and anything else he can think of to create the illusion.

A Nice Stop in Our Journey

We would definitely recommend a stop at Fecamp if you are in this part of Normandy.
