On our first field trip last Friday we went to Cagnes-sur-Mer to visit Renoir's house where he spent his last 20 years. It is currently used as a museum.

On Saturday we visited this town which has become on big Cezanne Amusement park. His name is plastered everywhere to boost tourism, and way up the hill from the town center is where he would go to paint the numerous images of this mountain that he is so famous for. there are several placards with copies of his work from the hill top. Its cool to be able to compare his work to the real thing.

Oh My - Beautiful
Hi Robin and Patrick - Oh my, your photo's take our breath away, keep posting them. What a treat your photography is perfect, makes us feel as if we are seeing the sights with you. I can't believe the history that you are experiencing. To walk right where these famous artists painted and lived, amazing grace. God Bless America and France!

They don't make school or roommates like they used to
I am not showing your blog to Maggie until she is at least thirty. What a fabulous trip you are having. How do they grade you? Number of escargot consumed? Just jealous, can you tell.? I am glad you are seeing so many wonderful things. Your pictures are beautiful. I am sitting with your mom looking for you at the Tours and drinking mochas. lots of love, Mimi and Bob

Wait a minute!
Robin - There's been a misunderstanding. I thought you said you we're going to Gdansk...to study shipbuilding (?) and begin your lifelong learning in the School of Hard Knocks. We need to talk when you get home.
