Still in Paris

Friday the 3rd was another big day... highlight again was lunch... went to a place recommended by Gourmet Traveller (see pic). A had consume and poulet and C had onion gratin and turbot and we shared a lovely bottle of Beaujolais. Around that we all managed a great shop (Merci), La Promenade Plantee, Via Duct Arts, Musee de l' Orangerie, the Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. Had intended to go to Picasso Museum first up but it is closed until 2012!

Today (Saturday, 4th) has been a bit quieter -- got up early and went to Sacred Coeur and then to Notre Dame -- a lot of church-going for one day! Wandered around Ile St Louis and headed back to our hotel for a little siesta. Plan to go to the Catacombs this afternoon and wander up St Germain...

Off on early train tomorrow to collect car then off to Brittany arriving afternoon...
