Well today we set about finding a replacement tyre. First I used the laptop to translate what we needed and I copied it down then I got out all the information leaflet about the caravan and mover.By the time we had done this and went to find the garage it was 12 md and they were closed. We decided to visit the sea and have lunch while we waited for them to open again. Can't get use to things all closing in the middle of the day. On our way there was a car in front of us on his mobile he then pulled off the road to the right we continued passed heard a bang but thought a bird had dropped something on our roof so went on Then this car came up behind us and beeped us so we stopped. He showed us a broken mirror he also had other damage to his windscreen obviously old. He wanted us to pay him 100 euros for the damage but we declined and I offered to take his details but he didn't want that . He must have opened his door as we went past because Hugh was not so close to him, we had marks on our side behind the rear door anyway when he found we were not about to give him any cash he drove off nearly running over my feet. Hugh is now getting fed up with France. We parked up and had some lunch. Then we went back to look for tyres ,three places later we were sent to look at another town no one seemed to have the right size and if we find the right size we have to buy two On returning to the site we checked the tyres on the van the one original and the spare a because the police check to make sure the tyres are the same make oh dear we will we bankrupt before we get home!!

Anyway in the end we found a place that could match the tyre and exchanged the damage one for 91euros and said we would bring Peggy-Sue to let them change the wheels for the new pair. Anyway on returning to the van we found that the tyres on the van did match so we will keep them on and try to make the mover work in some way and keep the new one for a spare then if we do need to use it we will be able to match it then hopefully!! Anyway the weather is still sunny and warm we will think about moving on to Spain soon. Peggy-Sue is very comfortable. Off to the lake with Sophie now Walking!!
