I had seen people across the other side of the river, and decided it would be a great place to watch the sun come up over the horizon, and I was NOT disappointed! Fabulous idea. I was able to see the sun come up behind the Eiffel Tower and get some silhouette photos of the tower. The best jetlag morning ever!
Built for the Exposition Internationale of 1937, the old Palais du Trocadéro was demolished and replaced by the Palais de Chaillot, which now tops the hill.
