Last day of Paris! We started at the Louvre, just checking out the courtyard with the Pei pyramid. Walking west past the Arc de triomphe du Carrousel and on to the Jardin des Tuileries. Sat at the Grand Bassin Rond and soaked up some sun. Continuing west to the Place de la Concorde and the Luxor obelisk from Egypt. From there we went to the Musee d'Orsay with it's wonderful collection of Impressionist paintings, which I LOVE. Bill has decided he likes more of realist type of painting. From there we headed to the Seine and took a boat ride. Was nice to sit down for a while. It was great to see so many sites from the river. After a well deserved rest, that evening we headed toward the Eiffel tower for dinner and a night time view of the lights. Was a wonderful way to end our trip to Europe!
