We have made our return to the city of lights with our tour group and have been looking forward to the chance to catch a few other sights we didn't make during our previous visit.

Without hesitation we set off again for St Michel for more gelati and then made our way to the Trocedaro to watch the Eiffel Tower light up and give the sparkle show.

The next morning our intrepid tour group made another well timed visit getting to the Eiffel tower first thing in the morning for the trip to the second level for fantastic views.

The last major site for us was Notre Dame, don't make the mistake and join the wrong queue. Entry to the Cathedral is free and generally pretty quick, entry to the roof top and bell tower is neither. Luckily Al checked things out and we were in out of the heat pretty quickly. The Cathedral is beautiful, and despite thinking once you've seen 16 gothic churches you've seen them all, you haven't. The extra surprise was finding the statue to St Therese (searched and search but could find no chapel to St Allan, not even

commemorative plaque!).

Now that our trip is fast approaching an end we indulged in what all good Parisians do at the start of a new season - shopping. St Germain is definitely the place to go, very stylish with street after street of boutiques and large brand names.

Many of our tour group set off for Moulin Rogue and by all accounts had a fabulous night. Many of the group then got together for a fun night of dinner in St Michel, followed by...gelati.

The list is growing but we will definitely be back to Paris.

This is the last real day of our Insight Tour, we have a great time with a very nice bunch of fellow travellers lead by our fantastic tour guide, Daphne Peachey and Fabio the most stylish bus driver in the whole of the world. In all we travelled 5695 km on our bus on the continent and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to get a good look at some of the high lights of Europe.

Au revoir

Al and Tess
