No annoying guides today, but we got lost...
Went to Notre Dame in the morning which was very beautiful but completely swarming with tourists, not very serene or holy. Then we walked to the Lourve and I stopped for a crepe on the way. Got to Lourve to discover it is closed on Tuesdays, so we went to Musee D'Orsay instead which was awesome. Best gallery we've been to so far, lots of Monet, Van Gogh and Renoir. After looking at so much art we were hungry so bought a baguette and a massive hunk of brie and gorged ourselves in a park. Then it was off to the Eiffel tower to queue with all the other people. We got to the top halfway through a magnificent sunset and then saw the lights of the city, very beautiful from up there but also freezing cold. Got lost trying to get home and walked for an hour and a half in search of a metro. Eventually got home cold, hungry and pissed off. Had 2 minute noodles for dinner.
