Canal St. Martin - boat ride

Today we went on a really nice boat ride up the St. Martin canal.

This was a real pleasure, we brought a picnic on board with wine and fruit and cheese and bread.
Everyone was eyeing our wine but we did not share it.

It turned out to be a lovely day. The sun was on and off but it did not start raining until we were 2 blocks from our place. Great timing. We ate dinner at home while it rained and then went out for a gelato in the rain. It was only sprikeling so we walked around a bit and window-shopped (or window-licked as they call it in France).
